The Marine Corps Run for Freedom 5K is a patriotic 5K race in Freehold, New Jersey, dedicated to honoring veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Hosted by the Corporal Reynolds Detachment of the Marine Corps League, this annual 5K run, walk, and ruck event brings the community together to show support for those who have served our nation. Whether you’re a competitive runner, a military veteran, or a proud supporter, this meaningful New Jersey 5K race offers a powerful way to give back.

Proceeds from the Marine Corps Run for Freedom 5K support the Marine Corps League, the Marine Raider Foundation, and Semper Fi / America’s Fund. Funds raised provide critical assistance including emergency financial aid, transportation to VA medical appointments, medical and mental health services, recovery support for wounded warriors, and assistance for families of fallen service members. Donations directly impact local veterans and active-duty military across all service branches.

Held in Freehold Township with the support of the Freehold Township Police and iPlay America, this community-driven military charity 5K welcomes participants of all fitness levels. Choose from a 5K Run, Walk, Ruck (weighted march), or a veterans-only race category.
